Introducing a sponsor can often feel like uncovering a treasure, a story that intertwines with the very essence of our mission. Today, we’re excited to introduce one of our sponsor's, whose ties to the community run deep and whose dedication to improving lives resonates with our core values which is to support one another and prioritize each player’s mental and physical well-being through rugby.

Meet Mr Turuva, proud owner of local business 3 Kings Mount Isa and our dedicated club president. Although there are opportunities to secure sponsorship from larger businesses in the area, Mr Turuva leads by example as the first to step up and support the team.

Mr Turuva’s involvement was hardly surprising, given his longstanding connections with members of the Mount Isa Barbarians Team. He values the strong sense of camaraderie between the players and the management team, noting that he would avoid participating in any situation where disagreements exist.

Truly, everything must begin at the roots—and what deep roots they are.
