We are proud to share that the Mount Isa Barbarians have secured sponsorship from Mount Isa Mines for our 2026 Active, Connected and Resilient Project.

For us, sponsorship is not just about funding. It is about shared values that leave a lasting impact on our members.
As a grassroots sports club, we use sport to support mental and physical wellbeing, creating a safe space where people can connect, decompress and build genuine relationships beyond work.

In a town where life often revolves around work, and many of our members are connected to Mount Isa Mines, this support goes far beyond the club. It reflects Mount Isa Mines’ leadership in investing in community health, wellbeing and connection across Mount Isa.
We did not approach any other businesses. Mount Isa Mines was always our preferred partner because of its deep connection to this community.

This is more than sponsorship. It is leadership in action and an investment in people.

Vinaka vakalevu for backing our vision.
