Meet our Coach

Kuki Vacala is a highly accomplished and experienced coach whose impressive track record speaks volumes about his expertise in the field.

His leadership with the Fiji team in 1989, along with successful tenures at Suva, Lautoka, and the Fiji Warrior, demonstrates his remarkable ability to guide teams to their highest potential.

Notably, Coach Vacala played a pivotal role in securing the first-ever Premiership for Cary Grammar Private School and Melbourne Rugby. He also made invaluable contributions to the Victoria School Boys Tour to Tasmania and Sydney, as well as to the Mount Isa Rugby League.

Coach Kuki’s latest endeavor involves developing the Mount Isa Barbarians rugby team—a group of passionate, like-minded individuals united by their love for the game and their desire to stay fit by participating in seven-a-side tournaments.
